I didn’t create the SBR Method™ from theory.
It came from a moment when my body stopped responding to everything I thought was “right.”
Through illness, recovery, and years of exploration, I discovered something simple:
The body doesn’t need more pressure.
It needs the right conditions to regulate, rebuild, and restore.
This is the work I share.

My journey

My journey didn’t start with a method. It started with questions.
Why was my body not recovering,even when I was doing everything “right”?
That question changed everything.
Growing up in Peru, I was always active. Movement felt natural — effortless.
But years later, living in London, everything shifted. A diagnosis of severe anemia was my first wake-up call.
Then, in Sydney, I was diagnosed with Graves’ disease — the most challenging condition I had faced.
This time, stopping wasn’t a choice.
That moment became the beginning of my work.
I was following all the recommended practices — yoga, breathwork, training, nutrition.
Still, my body wasn’t recovering.
That’s when I realised — the problem wasn’t effort. It was regulation.
The birth of the SBR Method™
The SBR Method™ was born from this shift. Not from theory, but from learning how to work “with” the body instead of against it.
This method integrates breath, movement, and awareness to support the nervous system and create the conditions for real recovery.

I don’t see myself as someone who has “arrived,” but as someone deeply committed to understanding the body and helping others reconnect with it.
Because when the body feels safe, everything else begins to change.
